The red dot design museum is quite remarkable. It houses the world's largest and probably most unusual exhibition of contemporary designs, all winners of the international red dot design award. And to top it off, the museum is set in the fantastic architecture of the former Zollverein coal mine. With exhibits ranging from wristwatches, accessories, mobile telephones and TVs to kitchen appliances and cars, each one is an expression of our everyday life and product culture. At the red dot design museum you'll discover some exceptional designs relating to all aspects of your daily routine.
