Sea Museum Fehmarn

The largest tropical seawater-aquarium in Germany (cf. Guinness´ Book of records of 1998) shows in more than 40 display tanks at least 1000 marine animals. The highlight of the fantastic tour through the centre is the spectacular underwater "shark-tunnel". It allows the visitor to walk right through the reef. Protected by the glass tunnel you´ll meet the fantastic sharks of the oceans. The Meereszentrum shows a large number of species e.g. tropical fishes, crustaceans and snails. Discover sharks, morays, puffers, sea horses, surgeonfishes, stone-fishes and lion-fishes and many different marine invertebrates like crabs and spiders, sponges, stone- and leathercorals etc..
