SEA LIFE CENTRES - Much more than just aquariums!

Visitors to Sea Life centres embark on a voyage of discovery through an amazing underwater world of lakes, rivers and the open sea. Spectacular displays teeming with creatures of all shapes, sizes and colours can be enjoyed at centres in Berlin, Dresden, Konstanz, Oberhausen, Speyer and Timmendorfer Strand.

Visitors follow a logical journey from lakes and streams far inland to the coast and then out into the deep ocean, with displays recreating habitats from the Atlantic, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.

A centrepiece of all these amazing attractions is the mighty ocean tank, with its walkthrough, transparent tunnel where sharks and other fish swim mere away, alongside and overhead. Regular talks and feeding demonstrations as well as detailed information boards provide a deeper insight into the world beneath the waves, and a better appreciation of the importance of marine conservation.

Classroom facilities and special teaching materials enable schoolchildren of all ages to benefit from the oceans of learning that every centre has to offer.
